My experience using The Ordinary Products
So i’m buying this 8 (+1) of The Ordinary skincare products out of curiosity and i guess i’m eager to try EVERYTHING from this brand. Some of these are empty now, some worked some not. Here are simple review based on my own experience.
Advanced Retinoid 2%
This is my first The ordinary product. For several weeks i’m using it just like i’m using my bravura acid treatment. Every other night. But it gets too drying, most visible part would be on the bottom side of the eyes. It gets very dry and redness come along. So i stop using it frequently just apply it once in a while.
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
This didn’t do anything visible on my skin. Has been using it religiously along side the Alpha arbutin until it ran out.
Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA
Alpha arbutin is used for brightening but i don’t really see it perform on my skin
Argiraline Solution 10%
I need something to reduce my under eyes wrinkles, i have high hope on this one. But no visible result yet
Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
Has been using it every am and pm. Only a drop and cover more than my under eyes. It has a bit cold sensation and it dry fast too. Only needs a drop of this to cover both eyes. A little really goes a long way.
Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
This one is my favorite of all! Finished one bottle and eager to get another one. My skin has been very drying but since i’ve been using this am and pm everyday the skin doesnt look that bad
100% Plant-Derived Squalane
Another hydration from a face oil. Using this only at night since it is not easy to absorb, leaving the face feeling oily but still bearable. It has no scents. And feels more liquidy than other oil.
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Tingling sensation and not suitable for those who never try acid treatment before it drying the skin. At first i use it every other day but now i only use this on Saturday night.
Natural Moisturizing factor & HA
I LOVE this moisturizer. The texture is thick pasta but very easy to absorb on the skin without leaving any white cast and it has matte finish -which i love
